Village of Faith has teamed with Highlands Mission Cooperative for boots on the ground missions efforts in the mountains of Nicaragua.
Highlands Mission Cooperative (HMC) is a collection of Christ followers dedicated to sharing the love of Christ through acts of service and helps. These helps and services take on the form of clean water, medical clinics, health education, construction, sanitation, English language schools, church planting and leadership development. Working through the local church, we strive to meet the immediate physical needs in a community as we share the hope that is the Gospel of Christ.
We encourage members of the Village of Faith family to consider participating in in-country HMC missions projects. Desire adventure in serving the Lord? Be part of a VOF missions team heading to Nicaragua to work alongside Highlands Mission Cooperative (HMC). Gain hands-on experience that will forever change your heart.

We recently received an update from Dan Brothers of Highland Missions Cooperative (HMC). VOF partners with HMC spiritually, financially and through "boots on the ground" work. Here is an excerpt from the update from HMC:
"With hopeful expectation, we’ll begin construction on the The Hope Center in Los Prendedisos soon. The center will house a church, a school for the village children, and become a gathering place as we continue to share the love and hope of Jesus throughout the region. We recently received a generous financial gift from our friends at Village of Faith Baptist Church that will allow us to begin construction on the center. We intentionally chose this geographic region as a very strategic place to spread the Gospel. More than 1,500 people are within an hour’s walk of this location. I long for the day when we will hear the voices of the redeemed in Christ echoing down the valley as we join together in worship."
Your spiritual, financial and physical support of HMC makes a difference in the lives of so many in Nicaragua. How blessed we are to be a part of this ministry.
Please continue to pray for all those at HMC and in Nicaragua and ask God what He would have you do ... maybe you can join the team the next time they go!
