Ministry & Service Teams

The cleaning team is part of the Facility Management team. They work hard to keep all the buildings clean an presentable to everyone who enters.

This team provides oversight of ongoing efforts to develop a worship facility capable of meeting the needs of the rapidly growing community surrounding VOF. Our recently completed expansion is a step toward this goal, and our current Faith Forward financial pledge program is part of our planning to achieve the Pastor’s vision that God has provided.

The Children's Ministry, FAITH KIDS, provides a place for the children at VOF to learn about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Our goal is so show the love of of the Lord in an environment aimed at their age level.

Facilities Management includes cleaning and general maintenance of the church buildings. We fix things from burned out bulbs to plumbing issues to maintenance of equipment to executing new contruction projects within the existing builings. And our cleaning teams keep everything spotless. This is a very hard working group of folks.

The VOF Fellowship Groups are committed to providing opportunities for members to feel connected. This includes phone calls, answering questions, making sure members are informed about VOF events and coordinating periodic fun activities for the members of their group to participate in.

We are a quilting/prayer ministry of VOF. Our goal is to provide comforting quilts to VOF members who are experiencing serious health issues or other life altering situations. Each prayer quilt is prayed over during creation and then presented to the congregation for additional prayers and “knot tying” on strings made into each quilt before being given to the recipient.

This team explores opportunities to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ outside the walls of VOF, both here in America and internationally. We do this by application of our finances, as well as our physical presence putting “boots on the ground” with scheduled VOF mission trips when and where possible. Our team is the first seen by visitors and members entering the campus of Village of Faith. The first impression we make is to show others a Christ-like spirit/attitude helping them to park their cars safely. This helps to show that people are not only important to us, but also important to Christ and welcome at our church. 

“Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God.” 1 Peter 5:2 NLT

The Pastoral Care Team provides prayer, support .and care for those in hospitals, nursing homes and Assisted Living Care Centers.

 We are a part of the Prayer Team, providing a tangible way to show our members’ families and friends that VOF cares, loves and supports them.  We create hand crocheted and knitted shawls and blankets, praying for the recipient as they are made.  More important than showing VOF cares, we show how much God cares, loves and provides strength in both good times, and especially during difficult times.

Our team provides active encouragement and promotes prayer within the church body. We seek the open and responsive working of Holy Spirit in demonstrating God’s love, guidance, and healing power to be released for the benefit of His people. This includes weekly prayer guides, and Wednesday prayer service cards, that allow the entire VOF family to be aware of and praying for member’s critical needs.

The Production Team provides video, audio, lighting, and visual aid services for worship, while also producing the final video and audio for live-streaming on all platforms utilized. We are active during all worship services,  concerts, special events, funerals and weddings. Our goal is to clearly broadcast the Good News of the Gospel to all the world, starting with those within the walls of VOF.

The purpose of the VOF Safety/Security Team is to be a companion to our under-shepherd and like a Sheepdog who is also capable of great violence but stands ready to confront the enemy and protect the flock.

This team is part of the First Impressions group. These folks help members and guests during our services.

The Vocal Team is an auditioned group of vocalists who have a passion for leading others through singing.  

Welcome Services is part of our First Impressions Team and includes volunteers who Greet at the door, in the lobby, and at the Welcome Desk.

The Worship Band is an auditioned group of instrumentalists who have a passion for leading others through skillfully playing one or more instruments. They are a musically disciplined group using click tracks with stems (backing tracks). 

To lead VOF in the worship of Almighty God is a very high honor, and we approach our roles as a high privilege. The Worship Ministry leads in artistic ways through the audio and visual aspects of music, sound, lighting, graphics, design, and technology.
