Ron Pledger, Lead Pastor

Pastor Ron is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been the Pastor of Village of Faith since 2007. He and his wife, Linda, were married in 1969 and have one son, Kevin, who serves Village of Faith as the Worship Pastor. Pastor Ron is also a songwriter and musician. He was a vocational evangelist for thirteen years having held crusades and revivals all over the US and in Seoul, South Korea. He also served two terms as President of the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists (COSBE).

Kevin Pledger, Associate Pastor/Worship Leader

Pastor Kevin is an accomplished musician, songwriter, author, teacher, and photographer. He is a staff songwriter with Broad Street Global Publishing in Nashville (a division of Main Street Music & Entertainment). He has written songs with some of today's best including Joel Lindsey, Tony Wood, and Geron Davis just to name a few. His original worship songs are being used weekly by churches in over seven countries around the world. He has over 400 songs to his credit, including I Will Go, the 2006 theme song for the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention. Kevin is the author of two books: You Can't Fall Off the Floor: Lessons I Learned While Getting Up, and Short Thoughts for Tall Leaders. A gifted teacher, you will find him teaching regularly at VOF whether in a class setting, or in one of our main services. Pastor Kevin was a vocal major and plays piano/keys, trumpet, and drums, and has sung on stage with Guy Penrod (formerly of the Gaither Vocal Band), Sue Dodge, Janet Paschal, Anthony Evans, Goodman Revival, and John Starnes. Kevin and his wife, Michelle (who leads our Lavatera: A Social Life Group for Widows Ministry), have been married since 1992, and have been serving Village of Faith since September of 2015.

Jeff Rankin, Administrator

Jeff grew up in eastern Ohio, where he became an Eagle Scout. His design and engineering career included companies such as: The Procter & Gamble Company, Belcan Engineering Services, The Fluor Corporation, and Process Plus LLC. He has held various positions in both sales and management. During his tenure as the President of Process Plus LLC, he more than doubled the size of the company. His focus on employee well-being also led the company to being a Best Places to Work Finalist every year. Jeff and his wife Vicki have been married since 1978, and have two children.
